Join us for Moton’s first Community Prayer Breakfast of the Fall season. Our Community Prayer Breakfast stands as the museum’s longest-running program, fostering community bonds through reflection and prayer. The breakfasts, sponsored by Centra Southside Community Hospital, offers a unique opportunity for individuals from all walks of life to unite in prayer, reflecting on topics that resonate with our community’s needs and aspirations. The Robert Russa Moton Museum is honored to continue this tradition and invites all community members to participate in these uplifting events. Let us come together to share in the power of prayer and community, reinforcing our commitment to a society built on mutual respect, understanding, and progress.
Admission is free and open to the public. The Moton Community Breakfast begins at 7:30 am inside the Moton auditorium. Interested in being a prayer leader? Please contact Sherre Atkins at [email protected]
Any gift has the ability to make an impact that far exceeds its size. Together we can work to share the Moton Story and ensure that countless individuals know how Prince Edward County became the birthplace of the student-led civil rights movement.
2022 gifts helped us engage with more than 20,000 individuals via our onsite and offsite programming.
Help us continue this important work with your gift. All donations are tax deductible.
