SUMMARY:Ely to Griffin: Where Are We Now? Where Are We Headed
DESCRIPTION:The Moton Museum joins with the Longwood University Office of Multicultural Affairs for a Town Hall discussion regarding the often overlooked and forgotten Black History of Farmville and Prince Edward County. In part 2 of this conversation we discuss current issues in the community impacting underrepresented communities and how we can work collectively to solve them. \nBlack History Month programming sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Longwood explores the people\, moments\, and movements that have helped to shape and continue to shape Black History & Culture within our communities\, across the Commonwealth\, and across the Country.
