DESCRIPTION:November invites reflection. The year begins to draw toward its close\, the season settles in\, and our thoughts turn naturally toward gratitude—for the people who strengthen our communities and the responsibilities we share within them. \n\nOn Tuesday\, November 3\, we will begin Election Day at Moton with one of the museum’s longest-running traditions: the Moton Community Prayer Breakfast. \nJoin us at 7:30 a.m. for a morning of prayer\, reflection and fellowship\, with breakfast prepared by Jay K Cooks Catering. As our community begins an important civic day\, we welcome neighbors of all backgrounds and perspectives to share this time with us. \nNOVEMBER PRAYER BREAKFAST\nTuesday\, November 3\, 20267:30–8:30 a.m. \nRobert Russa Moton Museum900 Griffin Blvd.Farmville\, VA 23901 \nFree and open to the public.No registration is required. \nELECTION DAY\nAs you make plans for November 3\, we also encourage you to know your polling place and make a plan for how you will participate in Election Day. Virginia voters can confirm their registration and polling information through the Virginia Department of Elections. \nThe Fall 2026 Community Prayer Breakfast series is made possible with the generous support of Centra Southside Community Hospital.
