Community Meeting & Conversation On September 8th, 2022 at the Moton Museum at 6:00pm the Moton Museum and Town of Farmville will host a community meeting and conversation. The meeting will be to discuss efforts related to World Heritage nomination for the Moton Museum and the creation of a Moton Gateway Overlay District in the

Dr. Derrick Alridge will share about his work with the Teachers in the Movement: Pedagogy, Activism, and Freedom Oral History Project. It explores ‘teachers’ ideas and pedagogy inside and outside the classroom during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. Rev. Griffin
