The Moton School Story Digital Exhibit site is the companion digital experience to our award winning permanent exhibition Moton School Story: Children of Courage. The Moton School Story Digital Exhibit is funded with generous support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Jessie Ball DuPont Fund, and individual supporters to the Moton Museum. This new digital experience for the Moton Museum allows visitors the opportunity to explore the galleries and themes of the Moton Story in greater detail. The digital experience also allows visitors the opportunity to explore with more detail the people, places, documents, events, and resources at the heart of Prince Edward County’s Civil Rights History. Additionally, the Moton Blog titled A Legacy of Resilience will allow for scholars, public historians, and contributors to bring the conversation present day as we use the past to inform our present.
