Virginia House of Delegates member Lionell Spruill, Sr. and Longwood College President Dr. Patricia Cormier, center, exchanged enthusiastic views about the Robert Russa Moton Museum and Center for the Study of Civil Rights in Education during a visit to the former high school building and national historic landmark in Farmville but the Chesapeake delegate. Del. Spruill, A member of the museum’s board of directors, is optimistic about the possibility of increased state funding for the project. Susan Rowland, one of the delegate’s assistants, is to the right.
