A Night at the Museum- Celebrating Afro Cinema Excellence. A special Black History Month movie series

The Moton Museum, in partnership with Bland Reid Funeral Home , invites you to a special Black History Month movie series celebrating the power and creativity of Black storytelling—from iconic classics to modern favorites that highlight the richness of the culture. Come for the films, stay for the community, and leave inspired. Spread the word, bring a friend, and let’s celebrate Black History Month through the magic of cinema!  FREE and open to the public. Concessions sponsored by Premier Pop .
FOUR UNFORGETTABLE FRIDAYS (except February 7th):
January 31st: Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall – featuring our very own Robin Allen, aka Lady of Rage!
February 14th: Love Jones – the perfect Valentine’s Day vibe.
February 21st: School Daze – Spike Lee’s dynamic exploration of HBCU life.
February 28th: Polly – a heartwarming musical reimagining of a beloved classic.
