The Spirit of Harriet Tubman

February 9 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Spirit of Harriet Tubman, as performed by Diane Faison, is a powerful one-woman performance that offers audiences a glimpse into Harriet Tubman’s life, her reflections on the Underground Railroad, and the convictions that guided her journey.

We are honored to welcome Diane Faison back to the Moton stage, where her portrayal brings history to life through storytelling grounded in research, lived experience, and deep respect for Tubman’s legacy. The 50-minute performance has been described as “breathtaking,” “riveting,” and both “inspired and inspiring.”

Designed to educate and engage audiences of all ages, The Spirit of Harriet Tubman connects past and present through the enduring story of courage, faith, and freedom.
