Banquet 2012: A Community Thank You

The Moton Museum wishes to thank all who made our 2nd Annual Community Banquet an incredible success.  Over 600 guests gathered to hear Mr. Leslie “Skip” Griffin, Jr. challenge us to move from a “we shall overcome” mindset to one that says “we shall become.”

With your continued support, Moton “shall become” Virginia’s leading civil rights museum, telling the story of those local children and families whose courage and sacrifice preserved American education for all.  We, the birthplace and battleground of Brown v. Board in Virginia, “shall become” the inspiration for a brighter future.
