Kick off the holiday season at the Moton Museum, Monday, December 14th, from 5:30 to 7:30PM! The Moton Council invites you to join them for great food, music and fellowship at its annual Holiday Open House & Social.
This free community building event will feature the annual Prince Edward County Elementary School Holiday Art Exhibition, as well as updates on Moton’s future. Additional parking is available across the street from Moton in the Southgate Center, along Griffin Blvd.
The Moton Council is the community outreach and advisory board of the Moton Museum. Among its members are representatives from (listed alphabetically) Centra Southside Community Hospital, County of Prince Edward, Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce, Fuqua School, Hampden-Sydney College, Martha E. Forrester Council, Prince Edward County Branch NAACP, Prince Edward County Public Schools, Longwood University, Town of Farmville, and Virginia’s Retreat.
