The Bridge Builders Dance Fusion FUNdraiser was more than a party—it was a promise kept. Together, our community raised well over our expected goals, with proceeds directly supporting the Bridge Builders Youth Leadership and Scholarship Initiative at the Robert Russa Moton Museum. That vision had strong shoulders behind it. Each sponsor added their voice to the chorus of support:
Gold Sponsor: Hampden-Sydney College
Red Sponsors: Fuqua School; Grateful Fed Catering Company
A special acknowledgement to our creative partner Blake Sutton of Premier Pop, who worked side by side with Team Moton to shape the evening from the ground up. His care and design ensured the energy in the room reflected the spirit of Moton and the importance of investing in young leaders.
About Bridge Builders
Now in its fourth cohort, Bridge Builders is Moton’s youth leadership and scholarship initiative, created in partnership with Fuqua School and Prince Edward County High School. Over two years, students study the Moton story within American and Virginia history, government, and civic engagement—gaining knowledge, leadership skills, and scholarships that carry them forward.
To our sponsors and partners: you gave more than funding—you gave direction and hope to the next generation of Bridge Builders. Thank you. More pictures and shout-outs are on the way. Check back soon for a full gallery and recap.
Keep the Momentum Going
